Join us for a series of relaxing afternoons in the plaza this summer from 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM. Each week will feature a live music performance from a local band or performer. Not to be confused with Tuesdays in the Plaza, this is a great opportunity to bring a picnic, sit back, relax and enjoy the melodies.
About the music: Caminos & Torre is a stunning Flamenco and Latin guitar duo featuring two of the Bay Area’s most talented guitarists, Jesse Torre and Carlos Caminos. Their dynamic performances blend the intensity of Flamenco with the rich rhythms of Latin America, creating an unforgettable experience. With Jesse Torre’s extensive collaborations with top Flamenco artists and dancers, and Carlos Caminos’ deep-rooted experience in Latin music, this duo offers performances that are both virtuosic and beautifully nuanced. Their music takes you on a journey—from the soulful melodies of Flamenco Bulerías and Alegrías to the lively Cuban Boleros, Venezuelan Joropo, and Brazilian Choros, you will experience not only a sonic representation of spanish and latin american culture. Further, you will experience the history and evolution of the Spanish guitar.
