Artist Reception: Chasing the Sun – Ceramics & Paintings by Cindy Wilson at Rena Charles Gallery

Step into the bright world of Chasing the Sun, a vibrant showcase of paintings and ceramics by Northern California artist Cindy Wilson. Known for her love of color and sun-soaked nostalgia, Wilson returns with artwork celebrating summer’s simple pleasures: dream-chasing, joy-seeking, and basking in the sun.

The showcase features whimsical ceramic flip-flops in a spectrum of summery hues and beach ball totems glazed in both Wilson’s signature palette and a newly unveiled Pride palette. Paired with paintings of sunbathing ladies set against playful fish-patterned backdrops, the show offers a nostalgic wink to carefree days and the magic of sunshine, water, and friendship.
