The Healdsburg International Short Film Festival showcases work from filmmakers of all ages and from all walks of life, with representative work from as many as 50 countries. Available genres vary each year, but always include narrative fiction, documentaries, and animation. The films in HISFF’s “Audience Favorites” represent the very best of the festival’s screenings from last September, across all genres. Volume 1 will screen at 2 pm and 7:30 pm on Saturday, April 11th and at 5 pm on Sunday, April 12th. Volume 2 will screen at 5 pm on Saturday, April 11th and at 2 pm and 7:30 pm on Sunday, April 12th. About HISFF: Our panel of notable judges from the entertainment industry makes the HISFF an attraction for new and veteran filmmakers alike — people like Ed Begley, Jr., Laraine Newman, Tom Waits, and so many more. Several judges attended in 2025, including actor Ed Begley, Jr., who made a book-signing appearance at the Raven as part of festival events.
