This year, send cards that aren’t like anyone else’s. In this fun holiday workshop, you’ll create your own personal block print design to make cards that truly represent you and your family. This lively three-hour class will give you all the skills and tools you need to create your own unique holiday cards–and anything else you’d like to block print, from clothes to wall art.
Our instructor will show you how to carve rubber blocks with fun and festive templates, or your very own hand-drawn design. Then you’ll practice techniques for printing on fabric and paper.

In this class, you’ll learn:
- all about relief printing, including how to transfer a design onto a rubber block
- how to use five different linocut carving tools and apply various amounts of pressure to carve your own custom stamp
- how to design a repeating pattern, and use ink and a hand roller to print it on a set of six holiday cards and envelopes
Leave class with your carved rubber stamp, and all the skills you need to continue making, carving, and printing. There’s no limit to the creative items you’ll be able to produce.
