Some moments cannot be held. A dancer’s gesture, fog drifting across the coastline, light changing by the second. In Movement & Stillness, artists Alexis Greenberg and Debra Owen each preserve these fleeting experiences through different mediums. Owen’s Degas-inspired multimedia dancers embody grace through line and form, while Greenberg’s atmospheric coastal photographs evoke a sense of wanderlust, capturing the ever-changing rhythms of the California coast. Together, they celebrate the beauty of the fleeting and the quiet act of paying attention.
