En Plein Air: Vineyard Painting Class

WITH NELLA RUBINSTIEN
FOUNDER OF HEALDSBURG ART ATELIER

Experience the beauty of Sonoma County en plein air(French for “in the open air”) with an intimate, outdoor painting class set in the scenic vineyards of Dry Creek Valley. Led by celebrated Healdsburg artist Nella Rubinstien, founder of Healdsburg Art Atelier, this two-hour class at Martorana Family Winery invites you to slow down and express your creativity while learning to paint your own landscape masterpiece—no prior experience needed.
Guests can choose from different backdrops and environs, from hillside grapevines to a shaded creek. You may also choose the technique–acrylic or watercolor, even watercolor flow (painting with meditation). Following the painting session, enjoy a tasting of Martarona estate wines and olive oil. A wonderful way to reconnect with friends or family without the distractions of daily life.

Your experience includes:

  • Step-by-step instruction from a local artist
  • All art supplies and easels provided
  • A guided wine tasting

This memorable art-and-wine activity is offered during summer and fall foliage season only—book now to capture the magic of Healdsburg wine country on canvas. Recommended start time is 9 AM for vineyard vistas. A gourmet picnic lunch by Dry Creek Kitchen can be added for an additional fee.
